On August 2nd, according to an update on the Bayern Munich official website, the team has arrived in Jeju Island and begun preparations for a friendly match against Jeju SK. The team will play against Jeju SK at 7 PM on August 4th.

On Sunday evening (Korean time), approximately four hours after landing, Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany called the team together for their first training session of the 2026 Audi Summer Tour. At the training ground of Jeju SK FC, the Korean Red & Gold partner, the coaching staff immediately arranged a nearly 90-minute training session, primarily to help the players quickly adapt to the environment after the long journey.

Bayern Munich players flew from Munich to Jeju Island, a journey of about 13 hours. Upon arrival, in hot weather exceeding 30 degrees Celsius, they first went to the team hotel, and then came to the training ground for the first time. Kimmich, Nathaniel Brown, and their teammates performed running and warm-up exercises on the training ground, as well as tactical coordination and shooting drills.

Bayern Munich's preparations also include the Audi Football Summit on Tuesday (1 PM German time) at Jeju World Cup Stadium against K-League team Jeju SK (live on Bayern Munich TV PLUS channel). The second warm-up match of the Audi Summer Tour will be on Friday (2 PM German time) against established English team Aston Villa, and this match against the Europa League champions will also be broadcast live on Bayern Munich TV PLUS channel.
