On August 3, Chelsea officially announced the latest developments in their pre-season squad, with Slonina, Penders, Giovani-Kunda, Pedro Neto, Mudryk and Welbeck joining the team.

After a week in Sydney, playing against Western Sydney Wanderers and Tottenham, Chelsea arrived in Asia last night to begin the second phase of their pre-season tour, with the team facing Juventus at Kai Tak Sports Park on Wednesday.

Before Xabi Alonso led the team to start training, several players arrived at the team hotel. Penders and Slonina joined the goalkeeping group, alongside goalkeepers Robert-Alexis, Sharman-Lowe and Curd.

Summer signing Giovani-Kunda has joined the team, while Pedro Neto, who took a short break after representing Portugal in the World Cup, has also arrived in Hong Kong. Mudryk has returned to the team and will have his first training session with Chelsea since December 2024. Welbeck has joined the team and begun training under Alonso's guidance.
