According to Spanish media Informacion.es, the England team was involved in a bomb scare before their FIFA World Cup semi-final match against Argentina.

A leaked security report seen by Informacion.es revealed multiple terror plots, including threats against the England team bus.

The scare occurred before Harry Kane and others lost 1-2 to Argentina in Atlanta on July 15, Spanish media reported.

Documents show that a police dog handler marked a section of the England team bus as positive for explosives, due to a claim that there was a bomb on board.

However, it was later confirmed that the bomb scare was a false alarm, caused by a mechanical malfunction involving an oil leak.

Referring to the most worrying threats during the FIFA World Cup, they said: "The most serious incident occurred when someone claimed there was a bomb on the bus taking the England team to their semi-final against Argentina."

"A police dog handler marked a section of the bus as positive for explosives. Another four-legged agent later corrected the result. According to the report, this was just a false alarm caused by an oil leak."

Informacion.es also reported that US President Donald Trump had been targeted multiple times.

One incident occurred on June 22, when an individual released an AI-generated video showing a Trump lookalike wearing an Israeli jersey playing against the Lebanese national team on a football field.

Drones also appeared in the video, starting to throw explosives at the players. The Trump lookalike was killed in the attack, and the scene then switched to a young man wearing a Palestinian scarf.

Last week, more details emerged regarding security challenges resolved by the FBI and the multi-agency command center IPCC, which coordinates global law enforcement efforts during the FIFA World Cup.

The documents also revealed that Messi was targeted in a shocking terror plot.

According to police materials, an extremist had vowed to kill the Argentine star with a bomb vest during a match.

Before Argentina's match against Egypt, he wrote on social media: "I'm going to walk into the Atlanta Stadium and blow up Messi with four bombs strapped to me."

Meanwhile, another man reportedly called Dallas Airport shortly before Argentina's group stage match against Jordan.

He reportedly claimed that he and two accomplices were heading to the city stadium with "homemade bombs and an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle."

These two threats triggered extensive searches by explosive experts and sniffer dogs inside the stadium.

Additionally, Ronaldo was also listed as one of the suspected targets of FIFA World Cup attack scares.

A FIFA employee raised the alarm after a "suspicious man" asked for "details" of the Portuguese star's accommodation during the FIFA World Cup.
