August 29 - According to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, Rafael Leao is flying to Istanbul today to complete a €45 million transfer to Galatasaray.

Reportedly, Leao will fly to Istanbul today, where he will sign a four-year contract with Galatasaray until 2030.

The total deal value is €45 million, comprising €43 million as the guaranteed transfer fee and €2 million in performance bonuses, plus a 20% sell-on clause. Leao will earn €10 million net per year plus additional bonuses. Plettenberg also noted that a move to Aston Villa was not financially viable, making Galatasaray the preferred destination for this transfer.
