Internazionale has officially announced that it has loaned 24-year-old Albanian international Kristjan Asllani to Al Jazira of the UAE Pro League.

The midfielder previously impressed at Empoli before joining Inter in the summer of 2022 for €15.7 million, arriving with high expectations.

However, Asllani struggled to establish himself at Inter, failing to secure regular playing time under coach Simone Inzaghi and subsequently Chivu.

Last season, he was loaned to two clubs in succession: after an early exit from Torino, he also had a difficult spell at Beşiktaş.

With his Inter contract running until June 2028, the Nerazzurri had originally hoped to sell him this summer to fund other transfer targets. However, lacking suitable buyers, Asllani officially joined Al Jazira on loan today.
