According to Diario AS, Ceballos stated at his presentation upon returning to Real Betis that he would repay the fans' support with actions.

The Utreran was emotional during his official presentation. After his transfer was announced late at night and he completed his first training session on Wednesday, Ceballos was officially presented as a new Real Betis player. He was joined by Pezzella, but Ceballos, as Real Betis's marquee summer signing, was clearly the star of the show.

When asked about Pablo García, Ceballos said: "He is one of our own, I can only tell him to enjoy football. The most important thing is to establish himself in the first team and be happy. I hope he scores as many goals as possible, because as long as he plays well, we will all be happy." Regarding Pellegrini, he said: "He lets me enjoy myself to the fullest. This season will be a challenge for everyone, the coach will need 25 players, and that's the key."

I have two daughters, and they are what makes me happiest, and Seville is the best city for them to grow up in." When asked about Real Madrid, he said: "I can only thank Real Madrid.
