According to Globo Esporte, Spanish and Portuguese media focused on the controversial incident in which referee Davi Lacerda chest-bumped Fluminense striker Cano during the Fluminense vs. Vasco da Gama match.

Fluminense defeated Vasco da Gama 1-0 at the Maracanã on Saturday night. During the match, while attempting to break up an argument between Fluminense striker Cano and Vasco da Gama midfielder Souza, referee Davi Lacerda approached Cano and chest-bumped the player.

The incident angered Hulk, who stated: "I've never seen anything like this."

Spanish newspaper AS and Portuguese newspaper A Bola both reported on the incident and quoted Hulk's reaction.

Following this victory, Fluminense has 45 points and ranks fourth. Vasco da Gama has 25 points and ranks seventeenth, still in the relegation zone.
