According to The Sun, Olise gave very brief answers during an interview following Bayern Munich's 5-0 Champions League victory.

The 24-year-old winger scored two goals and provided an assist for Harry Kane in the match.
After the game, Olise was interviewed by German broadcaster DAZN. When asked what it felt like to score a brilliant goal, he bluntly replied: "I don't know."
When the journalist pressed further, Olise just shrugged.

The journalist then asked how the goal happened, and Olise said: "I shot, and the ball either went in or it didn't."
When the journalist pointed out that if it were that simple, anyone could do it, Olise replied: "I don't think I'm the only one who can score."
The German journalist then said: "You're making this interview very difficult for me. What makes you happy? What makes you smile?"
Olise stared ahead expressionless, then answered: "Yes."
This awkward interview subsequently went viral on social media. DAZN also posted about it on social media, writing: "Interviewing Olise? Mission impossible!"
Many fans shared their thoughts as well.
One Reddit user wrote: "The interviewer must have had a headache, lol."
Another sarcastically commented: "Very profound, thanks Michael!"
This wasn't the first time Olise found himself in a similar situation during an interview. In April 2025, he also went viral for barely saying anything during an interview with Harry Kane. Another brief answer he gave following Bayern's 10-0 win over Auckland City also sparked widespread discussion.
