On August, Chelsea faced Juventus in a friendly match held in Hong Kong. Chelsea player Mudryk came on as a substitute in the 82nd minute, marking his return to playing for Chelsea after 20 months of absence.

Mudryk's last competitive appearance for Chelsea was on November 29, 2024, when Chelsea defeated Heidenheim 2-0 away. Mudryk started that match and scored a goal. He was subsequently suspended following a doping test issue, but has recently been cleared and rejoined the team in Hong Kong.
