Real Madrid and RB Leipzig have advanced negotiations in the past few hours, and the player is already waiting to travel to Madrid.

Real Madrid is close to finalizing Yann-Diomande. In the past few hours, the club's negotiations with RB Leipzig have made significant progress. The player is currently training with the team in Austria and is waiting for news before traveling to Madrid for a medical examination. The agreement between the two parties may even be officially announced tomorrow.
RB Leipzig announced on social media this morning that Diomande had resumed training. At the same time, the club is also working hard to finalize the agreement with Real Madrid. Diomande's trip to Austria does not mean a disagreement in negotiations or a cooling of the agreement. RB Leipzig stated that the former Leganés player was previously ill, so he arrived at the training camp later than his teammates.
Real Madrid is willing to pay a high price for the Ivorian winger. Although figures circulating externally indicate that the deal may be completed for 120 million euros, the transfer fee may continue to rise after recent rounds of negotiations and RB Leipzig's demands. Therefore, this deal cannot be ruled out as becoming Real Madrid's most expensive signing in history, surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo's 117 million euros, and Hazard and Bellingham's price of over 100 million euros, with the latter two's transfer fees potentially reaching 120 million euros under additional clauses.
Legal disputes between agents
In addition to RB Leipzig's high asking price, other reasons have slowed down the signing. The player had originally reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain but ultimately chose Real Madrid, so the agreement between the two clubs should have progressed quickly. But Real Madrid encountered an unexpected situation that they were previously unaware of: complex legal disputes between multiple agencies regarding the player's image rights.
Diomande's former agent Maxidel Management filed a lawsuit against current agency Roc Nation, which also hindered the deal. FIFA is aware of the matter because the case has been submitted to its office, but it will not cause trouble and may even approve a temporary transfer certificate.
Roc Nation is also the agency for Vinicius and Endrick. Diomande's transfer has further fueled speculation about Vinicius's sale. The Brazilian has not yet renewed his contract, although his agent is scheduled to meet with Jose Angel Sanchez in the coming days. Arsenal's interest in the Brazilian forward cannot be ignored.
