According to renowned reporter David Ornstein, Manchester United's transfer activities have not yet fully ramped up, but this is expected to change as the window progresses.

David Ornstein revisited his earlier summer prediction that Manchester United would be the most active team in the transfer market: "My assessment at the time was not based on any inside information. When the transfer window opened this summer, I believed Manchester United would be the club conducting the most business. The squad urgently needed significant overhauls then, and that need remains today. With a new permanent manager in place and Champions League football ahead, squad depth must be strengthened—reinforcements are critical. Midfield is the priority area, and the club also needs to offload fringe players. Right now, their transfer activity hasn't fully accelerated, but as the window unfolds, that will likely change."
