Following recent controversies surrounding the Korea Football Association, we express our deep remorse for the disappointment and concern caused among fans.

After parliamentary hearings and an unprecedented search of our headquarters, media reports have surfaced regarding incidents from over a decade ago that were unknown to most KFA staff members. We sincerely apologize for the concerns raised by these various incidents.

However, the KFA explicitly states that such improper conduct and unauthorized practices are not currently occurring within our organization. We earnestly hope that the achievements and efforts of our national team players, who proudly represent Korean football, will not be misunderstood by this incident, and that their contributions will not be diminished.

All KFA members acknowledge the criticism and will use this as an opportunity for comprehensive reform.
