According to French media outlet Foot Mercato, Strasbourg's Diego Moreira is expected to replace Diomande, who has already moved to Spain.

The report also states that RB Leipzig has reached an agreement in principle with the 21-year-old Belgian international regarding a transfer, but the difference in transfer fees between the two clubs remains the main obstacle.

The same report indicates that there is also a significant discrepancy in player salaries, making an agreement unlikely in the short term. However, the report did not provide specific figures, particularly regarding the maximum amount RB Leipzig is willing to pay.

In Saxony, Moreira is seen as a direct replacement for Diomande. Diomande joined Real Madrid last week for a reported record transfer fee of 125 million euros, with a contract until 2033, and the total value could rise to 140 million euros with bonuses.
