The Premier League officially announced that Cole Palmer was named the Premier League Player of the Week for the first round. In the match against Fulham, he provided an assist for Pedro Neto to score within 30 seconds of kickoff, and then scored himself in the second half to help Chelsea secure a 3-2 victory over Fulham.
