While sources from Atletico Madrid initially described the London trip as preliminary discussions, sources told talkSPORT that Atletico Madrid has informed Arsenal they would consider offers exceeding £120 million.

If Alvarez expresses interest, Arsenal are prepared to submit a bid in the final days of the transfer window. Arsenal believe that if Alvarez decides to return to England, Atletico Madrid will be more flexible with the deal structure.
