According to reporter Nizaar Kinsella, Hull City has reached an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt for the transfer of French U21 international Jean-Matteo Bahoya.

The 21-year-old winger is willing to join Hull City and has been granted permission to travel to East Yorkshire for a medical examination. The relevant procedures are expected to be completed before the transfer deadline on Monday.
Bahoya joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Angers in 2023 and has since made 78 appearances for the team, scoring 7 goals and providing 8 assists. Previously, he had also attracted the attention of several Premier League clubs.
Bahoya mainly plays as a left winger and can also play in multiple attacking positions. In a match against Bochum in 2024, his top speed reached 23.09 miles per hour, setting a Bundesliga speed record.
If the deal is finally completed, Bahoya will become Hull City's 13th new signing this summer. The club is continuing to strengthen its squad for head coach Sergei Yakirovich.
Hull City was promoted to the Premier League through the play-offs last season and has already defeated Manchester United and Coventry in the first two rounds of the new season.
