Watford has officially announced the signing of experienced forward Mikhail Antonio.

The 36-year-old Antonio joins Watford on a free transfer after extensive experience in European competitions, the Premier League, and the Championship.
Head coach Alessio Dionisi plans to leverage Antonio's vast experience to support the team on the pitch and help develop young players, as Watford currently has the youngest average starting age in the Championship.
Antonio said on the official Watford website: "There's a great group of young lads here, they're very focused and ready to show what they can do this season.
"Watford is a big club, and I hope I can come here, bring success to the team, and help in any way I can.
"I've scored a few goals against Watford before! So I hope now that I'm fully fit, I can score a few goals for Watford too."
Antonio has signed a one-year contract with Watford and is awaiting international transfer clearance ahead of the team's home match against Stoke City tomorrow.
Antonio last featured in an official match in England in December 2024 but is eager to return and link up with the team as soon as possible to support the head coach.
Antonio will wear the number 18 shirt at Vicarage Road and is Watford's 12th new signing this summer.
