Borussia Dortmund coach Niko Kovac revealed ahead of Saturday's league match against Paderborn that Konstantinos Karetsas has resumed individual training. The player underwent further examinations after experiencing circulatory problems during the Champions League match against Villarreal and is now expected to return to the squad soon.

Kovac told Sky Sports that Karetsas had previously undergone examinations at the hospital, and "fortunately, nothing abnormal was found."

When asked if Karetsas could return for next Saturday's match against Stuttgart, Kovac said: "If everything develops as we hope, or more precisely, if he can fully train normally with the team, then he will be an option for that match."
