According to Mundo Deportivo, Real Betis and Vasco da Gama have agreed on the transfer of Deossa, with the deal expected to be completed in the coming days for approximately €12 million.

Due to Vasco da Gama's current financial difficulties, the transfer will be structured as a loan-to-buy deal: a one-year loan followed by a mandatory purchase option, effectively completing the sale in installments. Brazilian businessman Marcos Ramalho is finalizing the process of acquiring shares in the club and has guaranteed this operation. Vasco da Gama is currently chaired by former player and television commentator Pedro Paulo de Oliveira, known as "Pedrinho".
Deossa had already agreed to join Vasco da Gama days earlier and had negotiated a new contract with performance bonuses. Vasco da Gama currently has four other Colombian players in its squad: center-back Carlos Cuesta, winger Jhon Rojas, and forwards Andrés Gómez and Marino Hinestroza.
