Konrad Laimer believes Bayern Munich will only improve this season as they target a record-extending 36th Bundesliga title.

Bayern have lifted the trophy in each of the last two seasons under Vincent Kompany, and only failed to win the league in one of the previous 14 seasons.
Last season, they were utterly dominant, losing just one game, while scoring 122 goals and conceding 36, with only Borussia Dortmund (34) letting in fewer.
Bayern also clinched the DFB-Pokal – for the first time since 2020 – in May and lifted the DFL-Supercup.
They will also be targeting a first Champions League crown since 2019-20, having been knocked out in the semi-finals by eventual winners Paris Saint-Germain in 2025-26.
Kompany's side are once again the favourites to lift the Bundesliga title this term, and Laimer, who recently signed a new contract through to 2029, issued a warning that Bayern will only continue to get better.

"We're now entering our third year [with Kompany], and we can still play better football, all of us together," he told reporters.
"We want to start the season with that mindset. Last season was good, but we can and want to do even better.
"You can really feel every single day here, when you're training and surrounded by this environment, the desire that at FC Bayern you want to win every single title.
"That's what makes it all so special. We're going for it all again."
Bayern begin the 2026-27 season with the DFL-Supercup against Dortmund on August 22 before opening their Bundesliga campaign the following week at home versus Stuttgart.
