On August 10th, Stuttgart officially announced that Wolfsburg striker Pejcinovic has joined the club, and both parties signed a contract until 2031. According to Transfermarkt, the transfer fee is 25 million euros.

Stuttgart has officially signed Pejcinovic, bringing in another new player for the 2026-2027 season. The 21-year-old previously played for Wolfsburg, appearing in 39 official matches for the Lower Saxony team and scoring 12 goals. The striker has signed with Stuttgart until June 30, 2031.

Pejcinovic was born in Munich on February 15, 2005. His football career began at Munich Bavaria Sports Club, and he later joined the Bayern Munich youth academy. In the summer of 2017, at the age of 12, he transferred to the Augsburg youth academy, progressing through all of Augsburg's youth teams, and simultaneously becoming a German youth international at various levels.

His parents are from Montenegro. He joined Wolfsburg in the 2022-2023 season. He first played for Wolfsburg U19, and on May 27, 2023, at 18 years and 3 months old, he made his Bundesliga debut.

He has played a total of 39 official matches for the Wolfsburg first team, scoring 12 goals and providing 1 assist. In the 2024-2025 season, he was on loan at Düsseldorf, playing 19 2. Bundesliga matches + 1 German Cup match, scoring 5 goals.

Pejcinovic holds dual German and Montenegrin citizenship. He represented the Montenegrin youth team at U15 level, and since U16, he has represented German youth national teams at all levels. To date, he has played 49 matches for the German youth teams, with 41 goals and 10 assists, and is currently playing for the German U21 team, having appeared 6 times in the 2027 U21 European Championship qualifiers.
