According to Sky Germany, Bayer Leverkusen rejected Ipswich Town's bid of around €20 million for Palacios.

Sky Germany stated that the club internally considered the price "too low." Negotiations between the two sides have now been suspended. Palacios wants to join the Premier League and has informed Bayer Leverkusen of his desire. His contract runs until 2030.
