Jhon Lucumi officially joins Juventus from Bologna.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT: 

Jhon Lucumi has joined Juventus from Bologna on a permanent transfer, and the 28-year-old has signed a contract that will keep him at the club until 30 June, 2030.

Lucumi came through the youth ranks at Deportivo Cali, making his professional debut at the age of 17 and immediately demonstrating great character and physicality on the pitch. Signed by Genk in 2018, he continued his career by securing a place in the starting line-up and becoming one of the best defenders in the Belgian league.

Since joining Bologna in 2022, the Colombian defender has made a total of 152 appearances over the last four seasons, also making his Champions League debut – in which he scored one of the two goals he has netted for the Rossoblu over the years.

Juventus are signing a player at the peak of his powers, ready to make an immediate contribution to the team ahead of the 2026/27 season.
