According to The Sun, Manchester United legend Rooney drove his son Kai to report to the Carrington training base this morning. The 16-year-old player had an excellent season in the youth team last season and has already received a scholarship contract.

Kai has been bulking up in the gym before the new season and was earlier this month included in Manchester United's 23-man squad for the Otten Cup.

The energetic youngster was dropped off at the Manchester United training ground by iconic striker Rooney and his mother Coleen, ready for another intense training session.

Rooney, who underwent nose surgery last week, arrived at Carrington wearing sunglasses.

After Rooney, Manchester United manager Michael Carrick and several star players also drove into the car park, as the team made final preparations for Saturday's season opener against Hull City.

Rashford's attitude has impressed Manchester United officials since his dream of a permanent move to Barcelona earlier this summer fell through.

The striker, who arrived in his luxury Audi, is aiming to make Manchester United's matchday squad for the Premier League opener.

Maguire, Shaw, Mainoo, and captain Roge Fernandes were also spotted arriving in their luxury cars.

New summer signing Tielemans, who joined from Aston Villa last month for a low price, was also seen at Carrington.

Andre Santos, who joined for £50 million, arrived at training in his Mercedes wearing a hoodie.

Free signings Karl Darlow, Mazraoui, Mount, Heaton, Shay Lacey, and Harry Amass also drove to the venue.

However, Ugarte, who is still undergoing treatment, had to be dropped off at Carrington.

The midfielder was forced to undergo knee surgery after suffering a serious injury at the World Cup.

A new face may also arrive at Manchester United's training ground in the coming days.

Balaba is close to completing a transfer from Brighton in the final days of the transfer window.
