According to The Mail, with three days left in the transfer window, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are both competing for Liverpool winger Luis Gakpo, while City is also considering signing Bala-Sapoko-Ndiaye from Everton.

Liverpool has made clear that before considering selling Gakpo, they must first sign two new forwards. Even then, they would only allow him to leave after receiving a substantial offer.
To date, Liverpool has not received any formal bids from Manchester City or Tottenham Hotspur for Gakpo. Gakpo started in Saturday's home Premier League match against Nottingham Forest.
Manchester City is also pushing to sign Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea. Although they have also been linked with Alexis Mac Allister from Liverpool as a potential alternative, there has been no contact between the two clubs yet.
Meanwhile, Bala-Sapoko-Ndiaye has three years remaining on his Everton contract, with a transfer fee valued at approximately £80 million. He has already rejected an Everton contract extension offer.
Tottenham Hotspur is also interested in Bala-Sapoko-Ndiaye and, like City, is considering a move for Jack Grealish from Manchester City.
