According to James Pearce, The Athletic's Liverpool correspondent, Valencia are in negotiations with Liverpool over a loan move for Harvey Elliott.

Reports indicate that Valencia are negotiating with Liverpool for the loan of Harvey Elliott.

The 23-year-old Elliott was not included in Liverpool's squad for the opening two Premier League matches of the season. His future at Liverpool remains uncertain following a loan spell at Aston Villa during the 2024-25 season.

Valencia stated that Elliott is one of several candidates they are considering as the team looks to strengthen their attacking options. The player has also attracted interest from Italian clubs.

Elliott's contract with Liverpool runs until 2028, and he has already spoken with Valencia manager Rubén Corberán to discuss the role he might play in the team should he move to Spain.
