According to French media outlet Football Market reporter Santi Aouna, Chelsea has made contact with free agent Georginio Wijnaldum.

Reporter Santi Aouna revealed that Chelsea is searching for a midfielder and has contacted Wijnaldum, who is currently available as a free agent, in recent hours.

The 35-year-old Dutch midfielder left Saudi club Al-Ettifaq this summer to become a free agent. Wijnaldum previously played for Newcastle United and Liverpool in the Premier League.
