The report states that since the start of last season's Premier League campaign, Arsenal has restricted opponents to an expected goals (xG) figure of under 0.50 in 20 out of 40 games, including the first two rounds of the new season.

No other team comes close to this figure; Liverpool is second with 8 games. Last season's runners-up Manchester City achieved it only twice, while Chelsea managed it 4 times.

It is entirely understandable that Arsenal fans have voiced frustration about the club's failure to bolster their attacking options in the transfer window. However, this also reflects the high collective standards Arsenal has set as a team. With key defenders Saliba and Timber absent at the start of the new season, the team's defensive solidity has remained largely unaffected.

The club has invested significantly to increase squad depth and mitigate injury concerns. Although Ngoyo has featured for only 11 minutes, Mosquera has performed steadily alongside Thiago-Gabriel at centre-back, while Ben White has filled in effectively at right-back to cover the absences.
