Inter Milan coach Lautaro Martínez was interviewed by TNT Sports Mexico ahead of the Champions League match against Real Madrid.

Lautaro Martínez thanks TNT Mexico for the opportunity to speak with us. First of all, how are you feeling physically at the moment? The new Champions League season is a new challenge, and you'll be playing your first match at a prestigious stadium like the Bernabéu. How special is this for you?
To be honest, I'm very happy to be back competing in the new Champions League season. Last season we were eliminated in the play-offs at the Round of 16, which was disappointing for us. That's why this season we will do our very best and try to go as far as possible, leading Inter Milan to the highest positions possible.
Tomorrow we will begin our Champions League journey at this important stadium against a top-quality team. However, as I've told other journalists and as I mentioned in the press conference, we also have our own strengths. We will try our best to return to Milan with a positive result.
The season has just started, and you're in good physical condition. But how do you see Inter Milan this season? The reason I ask is that, as you mentioned, last season you faced Bodø/Glimt, but in previous seasons you've also reached the Champions League final. So what are Inter Milan's objectives and ambitions for this season?
In the last four years, we've reached the Champions League final twice and the Europa League final once. So we've done very important work in European competitions. That's true, as I said before, there are many top-level opponents here. Throughout the season there will always be important moments that greatly affect the team. Our experience against Bodø/Glimt last season did impact us in some way, because at that time our matches were very tight and demanding.
But ultimately, as I said before, all these experiences have become lessons for us. Now we need to focus on tomorrow's match and start this season's Champions League campaign in the best possible way.
Finally, I want to show you a photo. This isn't that photo, it's this one. This is a photo of you from a few days ago after Inter beat Napoli 3-2, celebrating with genuine emotion and joy. That's why I want to ask you: what does Inter Milan mean to you? Because at that moment, your celebration was truly heartfelt, and it wasn't just for you but also for your family. What does it mean to be a Nerazzurri?
Inter Milan means a lot to me. Since the first day I arrived here, I faced a new city, a new language, and a new culture, but they always treated me in the best way possible, and I grew up in the Inter Milan youth academy. And as I mentioned before, Inter Milan has always treated Argentine players very well. This is connected to the club's history and everything that Vice President Zanetti represents. That's why I will always try to do my best in my career. I did the same thing when I was at Racing Club. I will do my best, help the club, help the fans, and do my job as well as possible to make them happy.
