Crystal Palace manager Pierre Sage provided an injury update at his pre-match press conference, confirming that Cheikhou Doukouré has returned to training and is expected to feature in Saturday's fixture against Ipswich, while Sarr will remain unavailable.

Doukouré had been sidelined for an extended period and was in contention to return in the 3-0 League Cup victory over Middlesbrough, but his comeback was delayed by illness. The midfielder has now trained for two consecutive days, with Crystal Palace set to make a final assessment of his condition following Friday's session.
Sage said: "Cheikhou trained yesterday and this morning, and he should be fine. He was a bit under the weather before, but he's okay now."
"We still need to check tomorrow because we've played consecutively on Saturday and Tuesday evening, so we have to assess fatigue levels. Everything went well today, but it will be clearer tomorrow. We wouldn't be able to give a definitive squad list before then."
In contrast, Sarr's recovery has not progressed as hoped. He will continue to miss the Ipswich clash and has yet to return to full team training.
Sage said: "The situation remains unchanged—he hasn't trained with the team yet. I initially thought he might train this Monday, but that didn't happen. We're expecting him to return to full team training next Monday. We hope to see him back on the pitch as soon as possible."
