Brentford manager Thomas Frank stated that David Raya has improved at an astonishing rate and is the best goalkeeper in the Premier League.

"When evaluating goalkeepers, we look at four core abilities," the Danish coach said on BBC's Match of the Day. "First, the ability to command the penalty area. David isn't particularly tall, but his high starting position is excellent.
He's excellent at distributing the ball, strong in one-on-one saves, and good at covering space behind the defense. Over the past few years, he has mastered all four of these areas."
"This penalty save was textbook. He came out quickly and made the save with a low arm extension. I have to say, it was a brilliant, world-class save. He reads the game very quickly, and his throwing and long kicking abilities are outstanding, making them potent weapons for quickly initiating transitions. His footwork has always been his hallmark, and he has become even better in recent years."
"His improvement is astonishing, and his mental strength is also very strong. For a goalkeeper, the ability to recover from mistakes is crucial, and he handles this extremely well.
So, in my opinion, he is the best goalkeeper in the Premier League and one of the top goalkeepers in the world."
Partly thanks to Raya's superb performance, Arsenal remain at the top of the league table. On Sunday, if Manchester City cannot beat Manchester United by two goals or more, Arsenal will retain their top spot.
