Roberto Gomez said: "Real Madrid needs a spokesperson. Until now, Real Madrid TV has effectively served as Real Madrid's spokesperson, especially on referee issues. That's all we really know about the club."

In his view, Mourinho brings substance to the press conference. Roberto Gomez said: "But he does express his views, and they are very thoughtful." He added: "Every argument he makes is coherent and rational. I like it very much."

Roberto Gomez concluded: "I hope all coaches, or at least most coaches, could hold press conferences like Mourinho does now. In my opinion, it's a real performance." He also described Mourinho as becoming "calmer, more mature, and more reflective," and believes this is a "Mourinho who suits Real Madrid perfectly."
