Sevilla have now won their first two matches in the Europa League after beating APOEL 1-0 at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, with Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez scoring the only goal of the game.

The Andalusians dominated the game but could not add to Chicharito's 17th minute strike, getting away 15 shots with eight on target compared to APOEL's three shots without troubling Bono in the Sevilla goal.

Chicharito's goal came after a beautiful team move by Julen Lopetegui's side, with the ball worked out to the left before Munir El Haddadi played in a drilled cross for the Mexican to fire into the roof of the net from close range.

Sevilla will now look ahead to Sunday's trip to the Camp Nou, where they will face a Barcelona side that came from behind to beat Inter on Wednesday night.
