Real went pass Celta on a hard-earned victory of 0-1 on Sunday at Municipal de Balaidos. Celta wanted to improve their position in the tournament after losing against Alavés 2-0 while Real Sociedad won 3-1 the last league match against Real Betis. 

As of today, Celta is 18th in the LaLiga table with 9 points from 10 matches, while Real Sociedad sits 2nd with 19 points after 10 matches.

There were no goals during the first half and the first part ended 0-0.

Real Sociedad took the lead in the second half, with a goal from Alexander Isak in the 82nd minute, and the game ended 0-1.

As for substitutions, both coaches used full substitutions. For Celta, Jorge Sáenz, Fran Beltrán and Gabriel Fernández came on for Néstor Araujo, Denis Suárez and Stanislav Lobotka, while Real substituted Alexander Isak, Luca Sangalli Fuentes and Ander Barrenetxea with Willian Jose, Mikel Oyarzabal and Portu.

The referee booked Hugo Mallo, Pape Diop, Iago Aspas and Jorge Sáenz from Celta and Pape Diop (2 yellow cards) saw the red card, while for Real Sociedad Igor Zubeldia and Mikel Oyarzabal saw a yellow card as well.

Celta with their next fixture against Real Betis at away stadium, while Real Sociedad will face Levante at home stadium.
