Leeds United have made an offer for Polish winger Kamil Jozwiak.

The 19-year-old is out of contract with his club Lech Poznan at the end of the season and Leeds have made a £180,000 bid to take him in January.

Poznan, however, are reluctant to let Jozwiak leave before the summer and have, so far, rejected Leeds' proposal.

Jozwiak, who can talk to foreign clubs from January, is not a regular for Poznan but seen as one for the future.

'I can confirm that we got this offer (from Leeds), but I firmly believe that we are not interested in parting with Kamil in the winter,' said Poznan president Karol Klimczak.

He has made three appearances and scored one goal for Poznan this campaign. Jozwiak made his debut for the club at the age of 17.

Leeds have been on an awful run of form recently and have lost seven of their last eight matches in all competitions.

They will have an opportunity to arrest their slump when Middlesbrough visit Elland Road on November 19 after the international break.
