OFFICIAL: Real Madrid confirm Valverde and Tchouaméni have apologized to each other, each fined €500,000

Real Madrid C.F. announces that, following the events that led to disciplinary proceedings being initiated yesterday against our players Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni, both players appeared today and were investigated .

During their statements, the players expressed full remorse for what had happened and apologized to each other .

They also offered apologies to the club, their teammates, the coaching staff and the fans, and stated their willingness to accept any sanction deemed appropriate by Real Madrid .

Under these circumstances, Real Madrid has decided to impose a financial penalty of five hundred thousand euros on each player. The relevant internal procedures are hereby concluded .
