Did you see Ismaël Koné after the game? How is he doing now? On one hand, it was a big win, but on the other, you lost a player. How do you feel?

Do you think the Qatar players were overly aggressive? What do you think about the physicality of the game?

"No, before that injury happened, the game was generally normal. We dominated the first half. I guess their coach must have motivated the team at halftime, not wanting the score to stretch to four goals, because then they would have to beat Bosnia and Herzegovina in the last round to qualify."

"We also have our own goal; we need to win by four goals so we don't necessarily have to beat Switzerland in the final round."

"The physicality did become more intense later in the game. But I must say, the player who committed the foul personally came to the locker room afterwards to apologize to Ismaël, and Ismaël has already explained the situation to the whole team. So I don't think it was an intentional foul to injure someone, and I won't blame him for it."

" But what I don't understand is that their entire bench rushed forward to argue after the red card decision, even though the tackle was very obvious and even led to a serious injury. That is indeed very strange. Ultimately, though, our focus has always been on Koné and the game itself."

Canada only needs to win the next round to secure first place in the group. How will you adjust over the next six days? Is your long-term plan being realized? Will team morale be affected?

"When I took over this team, I quickly noticed that the players had very strong relationships, they trusted each other, and they loved representing their country. I've always fostered this atmosphere, but I often don't interfere too much."
