According to ESPN Brazil, Real Madrid plans to meet with Vinicius' representatives this week to reopen negotiations on his contract renewal. However, Real Madrid currently does not intend to increase its latest offer to the Brazilian forward.

The report states that Real Madrid submitted an improved contract renewal proposal to Vinicius after the World Cup, with an annual salary of approximately €22 million (about 130 million BRL). The two sides had been at an impasse for several months regarding a new contract, and this offer was seen as a concession from Real Madrid.

However, Vinicius' team still hopes for better terms. According to sources, the player's target annual salary is around €30 million (about 176 million BRL), and there is still a significant gap between the two sides.

Vinicius' current contract expires in June 2027, and he will enter the final year of his contract after this season. If the two sides cannot complete the renewal, the Brazilian star could sign a pre-contract with other clubs as early as January next year and leave freely after his contract expires.

It is understood that Real Madrid is unwilling to exceed the current offer, and the club's chief scout Juni Calafat is one of the strongest supporters of Vinicius' renewal. An internal source at Real Madrid revealed that the meeting between the two sides is expected to take place this Wednesday, and sources close to the player have also confirmed that negotiations will begin this week.

Vinicius and his team believe that this contract will be the most important agreement of his career after he turns 26. They hope that Real Madrid will fully recognize the player's contributions since joining in 2018, including his crucial goals in two Champions League finals.

Earlier, ESPN reported that if the two sides could not reach a renewal agreement, Real Madrid would consider selling Vinicius this summer and hoped to receive a transfer fee of approximately €150 million.

Meanwhile, Michael Yormark, head of Vinicius' agency Roc Nation Sports, recently posted on social media that he was going to London, writing: "London, here I come. Let's go!" Although he did not disclose the specific purpose, this development has sparked outside speculation, with some fans believing it may be related to Arsenal's interest in Vinicius.
