Hull City have officially confirmed the signing of Olympiacos goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis on a deal running until summer 2031. Sources indicate the Tigers have paid a club-record £17 million transfer fee to secure the Greek.

Hull City are delighted to announce the signing of Greece international Konstantinos Tzolakis from Greek giants Olympiacos for an undisclosed club-record fee.

The 23-year-old, who has been capped nine times by his country, has penned a five-year contract with the Tigers until the summer of 2031.

The highly regarded goalkeeper kept an impressive 64 clean sheets in 131 appearances for Olympiacos after making his senior debut in March 2020, having joined the club’s academy from local side Platanias.

He was part of four Greek Super League title-winning squads, as well as a Greek Football Cup triumph and a Greek Super Cup success, while also lifting the 2023/24 UEFA Conference League.

Tzolakis was instrumental in Olympiacos becoming the first Greek club to win a European trophy, saving three penalties in a shootout against Fenerbahçe and keeping a clean sheet in the final against Fiorentina.

An exceptional 2024/25 campaign saw him named the Greek Super League Player and Goalkeeper of the Season, included in the Team of the Season and voted the Red-Whites’ Player of the Year.

The Chania-born custodian played every minute of the 2025/26 league campaign, appearing nine times in the Champions League and recording 23 shut-outs in 43 outings across all competitions.

Making his Greece debut in a 2-0 win over Malta in June 2024, the shot-stopper featured in 2026 World Cup qualifiers and earned his most recent international cap against Sweden in June.

“With Olympiacos, I had a successful career with a Conference League title, championship and a cup, also European games and Champions League.
