According to a social media post by French journalist Sébastien Vidal earlier today, Romero is listening to offers from other clubs because Internazionale cannot sell Pavard and finance the deal.

Vidal said that Atlético Madrid is one of the teams interested in signing the Argentine defender.

Vidal previously stated that Cristian Romero was very close to leaving Tottenham Hotspur, with Spurs and Internazionale reaching a verbal agreement on a €40 million transfer. The Argentine defender, who wants a change of scenery this summer, was moving closer to Serie A. However, because Internazionale cannot sell Pavard, Romero is now listening to offers from other teams, including Atlético Madrid.
