According to reporter Víctor Navarro, Barcelona is considering signing Laporte as a replacement for Araújo.

Víctor Navarro reported that following Araújo's loan move to Liverpool, Barcelona is interested in signing Spanish international center-back Laporte from Athletic Club as a replacement for the Uruguayan defender. Sporting director Deco is already exploring this possibility.
