According to French newspaper L'Équipe, AC Milan pursued Ismaël Ganiou, a Lens defender born in 2005, but he has extended his contract with Lens until 2030.

Amorim once spoke with Ganiou for an hour
According to L'Équipe's report today, several teams pursued Ismaël Ganiou in recent weeks. Reportedly, Milan coach Ruben Amorim held a one-hour video call with the player to introduce him to Milan's project and persuade him to join the Rossoneri.
Crystal Palace's current coach, Ruben Amorim, also made an approach to sign him. Ultimately, Ganiou decided to renew his contract with Lens, which also increased the French club's valuation; Lens was reportedly demanding at least €50 million at the time.
