Manchester United will have the conditions to give captain Bruno Fernandes more rest opportunities in the new season, according to the latest news from Manchester Evening News reporter Tyrone Marshall.

Manchester Evening News reporter Tyrone Marshall discussed whether Manchester United are looking for a rotating option for Bruno Fernandes:
"The team has no plans to sign a dedicated No. 10 player in this transfer window. Manchester United previously showed interest in Morgan Rogers, a player who can play on the left wing and also cover for Fernandes. In the long run, he even has the potential to gradually take over his position, but after the club quoted £117 million, Manchester United completely withdrew from negotiations.
Existing players within the squad are fully capable of playing in that position. I think Matheus Cunha is best suited for this role; Shea Lacey has started twice in the No. 10 position during preseason and performed brilliantly; Amad has also played centrally, serving as both a false nine and an attacking midfielder. Therefore, Manchester United have sufficient options in the new season to give Fernandes more rest opportunities, which is an arrangement the team urgently needs to implement."
