According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Juventus sporting director Paratici spoke about Ronaldo's transfer during his time at the club while attending an event in Forte dei Marmi.

Paratici said: "That deal was truly historic, not only because of my involvement but also because it held special significance for Italian football. Ronaldo helped us elevate our brand globally. We earned the right to sign Ronaldo through years of sustained success—winning Serie A titles, reaching the Champions League final twice, and strategically buying and selling excellent players. Juventus' 11-year period of dominance is difficult to replicate. When Ronaldo took the field, even away matches would sell out, and home teams would raise ticket prices because of his presence."
When asked whether working at Fiorentina was challenging, Paratici said: "I have to thank the Fiorentina fans for welcoming us so warmly. I don't think this is a difficult place to work. I've also had opportunities abroad, and I don't believe any top position is easy. As long as you continue learning and evolving, things will go smoothly. If you can also inspire those around you, the results will be even better. You must give people dreams and let them enter the stadium hoping to see their team win and experience passion." When asked why many Italian clubs are increasingly controlled by foreign capital, he said: "Their mentality is different. There weren't many foreign owners years ago, but now there are more and more. This isn't unique to football—it's happening across sports. We need to help these clubs adapt to Italy and support them. They also bring a more open perspective because they view football differently. We Italians often focus solely on results, while they also pay attention to stadium infrastructure and many other aspects."
