Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has stated he "cannot see anyone" capable of taking the Premier League title from Arsenal this season.

Arteta's Arsenal won the Premier League title last season by 7 points, securing the club's first domestic title since 2004.

With several potential title contenders possibly in transition phases, Arsenal are strong favorites to defend their Premier League title this season.

When asked about Arsenal's opening Premier League match against Coventry, Ferdinand said on his YouTube channel: "This is what I expect from Arsenal."

"They're solid, hard to beat, they restrict opponents first, then punish them for mistakes. They play like champions."

Ferdinand said: "I don't see anyone who can challenge Arsenal this season. They are the only team that has maintained stability, while others have gone through significant changes."

"Man City have lost their manager and Rodri, arguably the world's most important footballer. Rodri joined Barcelona this summer, so I don't see Man City challenging Arsenal or keeping up as closely as in recent years."

"Liverpool and Chelsea have both changed managers, so there's uncertainty. Manchester United are still in a transition and rebuilding phase under a relatively young manager."

Ferdinand said: "Arteta's experience is on a completely different level compared to other managers. He also knows how to win trophies now."

"Not many managers have won the Premier League title back-to-back, but I think Arteta will join that list. I think Arsenal will have a period of dominance."

Ferdinand also downplayed Manchester United's title chances, saying he would be "satisfied" if his former club finishes in the top 4 again.

He added: "Manchester United need to set realistic targets. We cannot pretend United should be challenging for the Premier League title this season."

"We all want to challenge for trophies, but you have to be realistic and know where you stand. I think Manchester United will finish in the top 4, and I would be satisfied if they do."

"We need to build on the success we achieved last season, and if we can win a trophy on top of that, even better."

Ferdinand praised two of Arsenal's summer signings: Gimenez from Club Brugge and Tielemans from Premier League side Aston Villa.

Ferdinand added: "Tielemans is an incredible signing—getting him at that price is fantastic. He's reliable, solid, dependable... it's a superb signing."

"The new left-wing signing also made a very impressive debut, this is an excellent addition."
