According to Sport, Marcus Rashford could make a surprising move in the final days of the transfer window, with Arsenal evaluating the England forward as a potential option.

This potential deal hinges directly on Gabriel Martinelli's departure. Arsenal and Al-Hilal are in advanced negotiations over the Brazilian winger, with the deal potentially exceeding €60 million in fixed fees plus performance-related add-ons.
Should Martinelli leave, a significant gap would open in Arteta's attacking lineup. According to reports from England, Rashford could even arrive on loan. Arsenal views Rashford as a Premier League-proven talent who can play on the left wing or in a more central attacking role.
Rashford only recently returned to Manchester United this summer after a successful loan spell at Barcelona, where he made 49 appearances across all competitions, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists. However, Barcelona chose not to exercise the £26 million (approximately €30 million) buy-out clause in the loan agreement.
His situation at Old Trafford has improved in recent weeks, with manager Erik ten Hag reintegrating him into the squad. Rashford started in Manchester United's opening Premier League match against Hull City, which United lost 0-2. He may feature again when Manchester United faces Ipswich Town on Sunday. This complicates any potential departure, but with only days remaining in the transfer window, moves can still happen.
Arsenal's primary attacking target remains Julian Alvarez, and the London club continues to monitor the forward closely. However, they will only formally pursue a deal if Alvarez clearly signals his desire to return to the Premier League—a signal that has not yet materialised.
