H. Maguire has said that Manchester United FC's new signings this summer may be somewhat shocked by the reaction to the team's loss to Hull City, but he insists that the defeat at the MKM Stadium is not a "crisis".

Carrick's side bounced back from a 0-2 defeat in the league opener to beat Ipswich 5-2 on Sunday.

H. Maguire acknowledged that the game generated a lot of "noise".

But the defender said that Manchester United FC's players have learned to handle the scrutiny, even though new summer signings like Y. Tielemans and Kaua Santos are still not accustomed to the intense spotlight at Old Trafford.

"For us, this is not a crisis," H. Maguire said.

"I just feel like the outside world often wants to bring things in and make it a crisis, but you have to stay focused.

"I think the most important thing about playing for this club is: don't get too high when you win, and don't get too low when you lose. That's crucial for this club.

"If the new signings have been reading the news, or watching TV, or anything like that, I think they might be a bit shocked.

"But that's part of playing for this club. Everyone wants to talk about it, especially when we lose."

After beating Ipswich, Carrick has not ruled out making further signings before the transfer window closes on Tuesday.

Manchester United FC is still looking for a left-back to compete with Luke Shaw, but there is no guarantee a deal will be completed.

As the deadline approaches, many fans will be glued to their screens and social media, but H. Maguire said most players pay little attention to it.

"We don't really talk about it," he said.

"The group won't get too excited about it. I might check what happens at the end of the day, hoping there might be some exciting business, but I think as players, we're very confident in the squad we have.

"We have a good team. If they want to bring in players to help us, the better. The more players we have, the stronger we become and the better our chances of winning trophies. But generally, I'm not sat in front of the TV watching these things."
