According to Mirror Football, Zion Suzuki will face considerable pressure replacing Emiliano Martínez at Aston Villa, having turned down a development opportunity at Manchester United three years ago.

Aston Villa's goalkeeper Suzuki rejected Manchester United's approach and has since taken a long path to reach the Premier League.
The 24-year-old Suzuki acknowledges he carries significant responsibility stepping into Emiliano Martínez's shoes, but the World Cup winner is ready for the challenge.
Three years ago, when Manchester United wanted to sign Japan's top goalkeeper Zion Suzuki as backup to André Onana, he turned down their offer. Instead, to secure regular playing time for his development, Suzuki made a decisive move from Urawa Red Diamonds to Belgian side Sint-Truiden.
Less than a year later, Suzuki successfully transferred to Parma, and has since become regarded as one of the world's finest goalkeepers—which is why Villa paid £30 million to sign him this summer.
Suzuki said: "My main goal was to play regularly, so I made that decision. I played in Belgium for a year and in Parma for two years. I developed. Playing in Serie A for two years was crucial. Now I'm full of confidence and belief in myself."
"I've achieved good results, and now I'm here to play for this club. I'm enjoying this moment. I want to help the team as much as possible. Ultimately, I've made it here. I play for Villa. That's it. I've always wanted to come here, and now I just want to play for this club."
On Monday evening, Zion Suzuki made his debut at Villa Park against Arsenal, and Villa fans immediately chanted "Zion Suzuki—number one in the world."
Suzuki said: "Yes, of course there's a lot of expectation. It's not easy to play after him, but I want to help the team, and I want to be like him. That's a good challenge for me."
"I trained with him for a while. He's a very good person, and I learned a lot from him. Although it wasn't long, I really did learn a great deal. I'm looking forward to facing him."
Suzuki said he's really enjoying playing under Emery and the opportunity to compete in the Champions League with Villa. He's encouraged to play out from the back, which suits his style well, though Villa lost to Arsenal in his debut.
He added: "I enjoy playing under him (Emery). What he wants is really interesting and suits my style. Against Arsenal, I tried to create some chances with my feet, and although we didn't score, I hope to continue doing that."
"It was a difficult match. It was my debut, but I really wanted to win. We lost, so I'm disappointed. But the manager said it's a process. We need to learn from our failures. Today we respected our opponent, but we lost, and we need to learn from this match and move on."
"The Champions League is at the highest level, and I'm really looking forward to it. But first, I want to win in the Premier League. We hope to build momentum and then give everything to secure Champions League football."
