Noel Gallagher, Oasis guitarist and renowned Manchester City fan, has praised Enzo's character and Cherki's talent, insisting they are exactly the players City need.

Speaking about Cherki's outstanding performances, Noel Gallagher emphasized: "They need to build their play around him.
"I think he needs that freedom because he can operate anywhere in the attacking third."
"That goal against Crystal Palace – when your team is pushing forward and you can't quite see what's happening, none of us knew how he got the ball in the net."
"Even when we got home and watched the slow-motion replay, I'd still think, 'How the hell did he do that?'"
Gallagher continued to praise Cherki, believing the creative player's unconventional style of play – which he had previously criticized as somewhat excessive – is City's greatest weapon.
He added: "He's got a quality that's indefinable, something only a magician possesses. He's eccentric and says crazy things, but I'm telling you, he's an absolute gem."
After calling Cherki the team's rebellious talent, Noel Gallagher then praised Enzo's character as exactly what City needs.
"Now everyone's saying, 'Oh, Enzo, he's this, he's that.' True, he's like that when you're up against him. But when he's in your team, he's the kind of player you want."
"What I want is a player like Roy Keane. I'm not putting him on Roy Keane's level, but I want him to challenge the opposition's midfield – that's what I want, and I want City to have a player like that, because Foden won't do it, Elliott-Anderson won't do it."
Gallagher was also pleased to see Enzo wearing the number 17 shirt for City – the number worn by club legend Kevin De Bruyne.
He added: "I like the character of this Enzo lad, I'm glad he's here, and I'm glad he's wearing Kevin's shirt, because I can guarantee you, that shirt won't just be handed to him lightly."
"I'm pleased he's wearing that number because it shows he's got balls, and I like that."
Noel Gallagher also spoke about a conversation he had with City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak before the summer transfer window opened.
Recalling their discussion, Noel Gallagher revealed: "I asked him, 'What do you reckon?'"
"He said, 'Look, can we win 20 trophies in the next ten years? That's very unlikely. Can we win 10 trophies in the next ten years? Possibly.'"
"He said, 'But what I can guarantee you is we will build a team that will always be there. We will be there, we will keep fighting, we won't give up, and they will do everything they can.'"
"He said they'd spend big in this transfer window, and the players he mentioned to me – aside from Ndiaye, who nobody expected – are exactly what he told me before."
Noel Gallagher continued to praise Khaldoon Al Mubarak, City's chairman, who has overseen the club's unprecedented period of success since Sheikh Mansour's takeover in 2008.
He added: "That man – he says it, he does it. I've spoken to him three times over the years about how things will unfold over the next five years, and everything he's said has been right, almost exactly what has happened.
"So I can tell City fans, we might not win the league this year, but next year this team, I mean, even by the end of this year, this team could have taken off.
"But by next year, with Buonanotte and the current squad, with an average age around 25, we're ready. We're ready to keep going."
