Manchester United legend Nicky Butt believes his former club should consider signing Osimhen this summer, while claiming that Rashford's resurgence this season could be equivalent to a £70 million contract.

"I think we should let Rashford play as a centre-forward because I think Cunha and Mbeumo could do better on the wing. I really do think that. Sesko could also come in and make an impact at times," Butt said while discussing United's attacking options in an interview with 'The Midnight Show'.

"I think Osimhen could sign. I think a club like Manchester United could sign him. I'm not saying he's a superstar—if he were a superstar, there wouldn't be much to think about. You just look at players who are available to sign. There's no point talking about the big stars because you can't sign them."

"So I'd secretly keep an eye on that guy. I think physically and in terms of pace, he'd be a really good fit for the Premier League."

Butt also commented on Rashford's start to the season and explained why he believes the forward is like a "£70 million signing" for United this campaign.

"Are we witnessing the start of a great redemption story for Rashford? You certainly hope so," Butt added.

"For someone who's had a few difficult years at Manchester United, that would be a really inspiring story. He came through the academy and became a superstar with the potential to reach Mbappé's level."

"He went away and played quite well at Villa, then went to Barcelona and performed well, but then things went downhill. The welcome he's receiving now is truly remarkable."

"Think about it—very few clubs would welcome a player back like that after they've left for whatever reason. He's come back. When he's in form, he's certainly one of Europe's top players."

"But the thing with Marcus is he has to stay focused, because once he loses concentration—there will be criticism at the club. That will definitely happen."

"People will say 'does he really want to be here? Is his heart here?' But without a doubt, he's like a £70 million signing."
